Prep Digital Folio Systems was designed specifically for
Queensland preparatory classroom teachers wishing to computerize
there planning, monitoring and assessment. Microsoft
PowerPoint and Word must be installed on your computer to run this
software.

PREP FOLIO SYSTEMS
This system has a home page which links to
every child’s Prep Folio and a Word version of the Phase Descriptors
(copy and paste into folios) and a Journal word document (use for
group planning & reflections)
30 CHILD FOLDERS
Each child has a Digital Folder within the system for storage of Pictures,
a Prep Folio and an Individual Observations Word document. The
Individual Observations document is divided into ELA's and
Specialist information categories. You can jump between ELA's
PREP FOLIO
The folios in this system are interactive. click on a variety of
buttons on each slide to jump to the Help
presentation; the beginning of each ELA group; to an Individual
Observation Word document (can be edited from link); Phase
Descriptors; Rubrics and the picture folder to view contents
LEARNING STORIES ONLY
The Main Page links to 12 learning story presentations, that's three per
term. Designed for viewing in the classroom by children and
families. Share projects, excursions, photo
collections and special events with families. Include audio recordings of
children etc. and store group photo collections.
CHILD POWER SYSTEM
Contains a Learning Story system as above plus
30 Child
Portfolios with blank slides. These can be used by children to showcase
their work to family and friends.
Each child has a Folder with a
Pictures folder, a Child Portfolio
(no reference to ELA's) and Individual Observations Word document.
There is also a Group Pictures folder for storage of photos of interest to
all. (this cuts back on duplicate photos being stored in each individual
folder.)
The home page has optional links to: a reflective Journal, an Individual
Observations Home Page plus a Curriculum Overview and Planning Document
presentation.
The indvidual Observations Homepage links to all 30 Individual Observation
documents for easy entering of information.
COMBINED SYSTEM
Combines the Prep Folio System and the
Child Power System
Each child’s folder has a
Pictures folder, Individual Observations Word document,
You have the choice of using
the Prep Folio or the Child Portfolio (no ELA's)
or a combination of two For example You may use the Prep Folio
System for your own use and the Group Learning Stories or Child Power in the
classroom.
